Such a pleasure here! Current Seattle Mariners hitting coach Chris Chambliss swings by the Johnny Ballgame Show to talk baseball. Not too many former ballplayers can share stories like Chambliss. A former Rookie of the year, All Star and Gold Glove winner, Chris Chambliss is a six-time champion with the New York Yankees. Two as a player and four as a coach. Chambliss played for the NY Yankees in the late 1970s along with the likes of Reggie Jackson, Willie Randolph, Bucky Dent, Lou Piniella, Mickey Rivers, etc. coached by Billy Martin. He also spent time playing for the Atlanta Braves under then manager Joe Torre. Chambliss shares old stories and talks Mariners with Johnny Ballgame. Again, a real pleasure to interview this baseball great!
