Seahawks claim recently released Josh Gordon off waivers.

November 1, 2019

New Englands other problem child, Josh Gordon is now a project for Pete Carrol and the Seattle Seahawks. Gordon has a history of issues in the NFL with most of them stemming from a substance abuse problem. In 2014 the league suspended him indefinitely for his fourth such violation. Since returning in 2017 Gordon has 79 catches and 6 touchdowns between the Browns and the Pats. I would think the Patriots are saying “good riddance” while the Seahawks are looking at an opportunity to add a one time top notch receiver to their roster. Gordon, if well managed could be a huge part of this second half run for the Seahawks and a pivotal part of rookie D.K. Metcalfs early career development. My take on it is that is a very small risk for Seattle which could end in huge reward so this is definitely a Doddsy Dinger. Listen to more about this today on the Johnny Ballgame Show.
