Welcome contestants to the 2012 La Grande Country Club British Open Showdown. We are testing your golf skills and promoting friendly competition between your friends.

The British Open is one of the greatest golf tournaments in the world and this contest will give you the chance to win great prizes!

Contest Rules:

One entry per person. Contestants must choose their “team” from the groups listed below. There are six groups of golfers: The Johnny Ballgame Group, the Paulie The Producer Group, the Cody Goodan Group, the Matt Scarfo Group, the Mark Goss Group, and the Jake Hanson. Scores will be calculated based on the individual finishes of each member of your “team”.

Scoring:

1st  Place: 25 points
2nd Place: 15 points
3rd  Place: 12 points
4th  Place: 10 points
5th  Place: 9 points
 6th Place: 8 points
 7th Place: 5 points
 8th Place: 4 points
 9th Place: 3 points
10th Place: 1 point

Note: Ties will be included. For example,
if three golfers finish tied for third place
in The British Open, 12 points will be
given to each golfer.
Prizes:

  • 1st Place: La Grande Country Club U.S. Open Showdown plaque.
  • 2nd Place: 1-Month access at Mountain Valley Therapy Fitness & Health.
  • 3rd Place: Gift certificate at a local restaurant.

The winner will be announced on Monday, July 23rd
during The Johnny Ballgame Show.
